Heap Chat
The AI workspace that actually knows your files
Heap Chat is a local-first AI workspace that turns your folders into a searchable, chat-friendly knowledge base. It runs entirely on a local Ollama model, with no cloud dependency or telemetry. A multi-step agent reasons over your files, cites sources, and supports documents, images, audio, video, and code. It includes access controls, MCP integration, and optional cloud model support.
