Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 5, 2026
VibeHarbor (“we”, “us”) is a community where builders share the products they ship. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what we do with it — in plain language.
What we collect
Account information. When you sign in with GitHub or Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from that provider. We never see your passwords.
Content you share. Products you post, tags, status labels, upvotes, and your public profile are stored and displayed as part of the community.
Cookies. We use a session cookie to keep you signed in and an anonymous identifier so upvotes count once per person. No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Public web pages. When a product is shared, our automated system reads that product's publicly available website to draft the listing, capture a preview image, check the site is reachable, and note publicly listed contact information (used only to let makers claim their products).
How we use it
To run the community: showing shared products, profiles, and votes; drafting listings with AI assistance; keeping spam and dead links out of the feed; and emailing you only for things you initiate (like claiming a product).
Who processes data for us
We use a small set of service providers: Vercel (hosting), Neon (database), DeepSeek (AI processing of publicly available page content for drafting and categorization), Resend (transactional email), and GitHub / Google (sign-in). We do not sell your data, and we do not run ads.
Your choices
You can stop using VibeHarbor at any time. To delete your account, your shared products, or a listing of a product you own, contact us at contact@vibeharbor.dev and we'll take care of it.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, we'll update the date above and note it on the site. Questions? Email contact@vibeharbor.dev.
